Get to Know the Artist

Hi!  My name is Cindy. 

I started making these crushed glass pictures in 2025, when a store owner asked me if I could make a picture of a wave, with resin.  I had been showing her my sea glass necklaces to put into her store at the time.  I thought her request for a resin picture was way above my skills!  I told her no, I couldn't make that, and she looked so sad and disappointed!

When I got home I started thinking, "how hard could it be?"  So I watched a few videos and pushed through my hard my fear of working with resin, and BINGO!  I made the picture of the wave and then it morphed into all these other designs.  I am proud to say you can find original designed pictures there today. The stores name is Very Ventura, and it is on Main Street in Ventura, CA. 

A little background:

My husband and I moved to Ventura in 2018, after living in the Antelope Valley for over 25 years! we raised our children in Palmdale, California. My daughter is now a high school teacher and my son is a K9 police officer.  I recently retired from being a paralegal for 33 years at State Farm Insurance   I LOVE being retired!  This is the best time of life.  I can do whatever I want, when I want.  It’s wonderful and gives me plenty of free time to create more designs.
